Danang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) is one of the leading prestigious international film festivals in the region, organized by the People’s Committee of Danang City in coordination with the Vietnam Association for the Promotion and Development of Cinema (VFDA). This year, the event will be held from June 29 to July 5, 2025, at the Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex, continuing to showcase outstanding films from Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, and many other Asian film industries. DANAFF III – 2025 promises not only to be an artistic playground but also a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Asian countries and the world.

Returning on a larger scale, DANAFF 2025 brings with it many new elements that reflect the ambition of Vietnamese and Asian cinema to reach international heights. Spanning 7 days, the event will feature more than 100 films from various Asian countries, with hundreds of screenings for cinema lovers.
One of this year’s highlights is the “DANAFF Talents” program. This program is designed with training classes and themed workshops to nurture potential film ideas. Selected projects will have the opportunity to present to major industry figures such as Christian Jeune (Cannes Film Festival) or Isabelle Glachant, and compete for awards worth thousands of dollars.
Throughout the event, Korean cinema is selected as the country in focus for 2025. By curating a program of themed films ranging from classics to modern works, combined with in-depth academic seminars, the event aims to foster cultural exchange and deepen understanding of Korean cinema.
