FURAMA RESORT DA NANG – THE ONLY TOURISM ENTITY AWARDED THE EMULATION FLAG AT THE FIRST DA NANG CITY PATRIOTIC EMULATION CONGRESS (2025–2030)

Da Nang, September 3, 2025 – “Emulation is patriotism, and patriotism must be expressed through emulation. Those who emulate are the most patriotic of all” – the immortal call of President Ho Chi Minh was once again reaffirmed at the First Da Nang City Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025–2030).

Amid this solemn and inspiring atmosphere, Furama Resort Da Nang was honored to become the only entity in the tourism sector to receive the Outstanding Emulation Flag from the Da Nang City People’s Committee. This recognition is not only a well-deserved acknowledgment of persistent efforts, but also a vivid testament to the spirit of patriotic emulation – the driving force that continues to propel Furama forward, contributing actively to the journey of building a dynamic, creative, and sustainable Da Nang.

During the post-pandemic recovery period from 2020 to 2023, Furama Resort Da Nang reaffirmed its pioneering role by proactively developing training and capacity-building programs to enhance professional skills, while maintaining stable employment for its workforce. The enterprise also closely coordinated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs in implementing unemployment insurance policies, providing timely support to hundreds of employees. These efforts clearly demonstrated Furama’s social responsibility and long-term commitment to its employees as well as the local community.

Beyond internal operations, Furama Resort Da Nang has also served as a key advisory partner to the Department of Tourism and the Da Nang City People’s Committee in numerous international-scale events. Notable examples include the Asia Route Development Forum – Routes Asia 2022, which brought together more than 500 delegates from over 100 global airlines; the Da Nang Investment Promotion Forum 2022; semiconductor conferences; national digital government conferences; and the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF). In addition, Furama Resort Da Nang has left a strong impression through a series of distinctive festivals such as Holi Festival, Oktoberfest, and especially HorecFex Vietnam 2025 – a leading forum and exhibition on innovative technology in the hotel and restaurant industry.

Speaking at the Congress, the Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, emphasized:

The Emulation Flag award not only affirms Furama Resort Da Nang’s pioneering position in the tourism sector, but also serves as a living testament to the spirit of ‘emulation is patriotism’ as advised by President Ho Chi Minh. Furthermore, Furama Resort Da Nang has taken the lead in implementing production–consumption linkages for clean agricultural products in cooperation with the Co Tu ethnic community in Tr’hy Commune, Tay Giang District, through the signing of the “Support for Agricultural Development and Consumption” program with the Tr’hy Commune Farmers’ Association, tourism–hotel associations, culinary culture associations, and food suppliers. These contributions not only help local residents secure stable outlets for their products, improve income and living standards, but also contribute to the goal of sustainable tourism development, creating strong linkages between high-end tourism and rural communities. These practical and meaningful contributions have played an important role in Furama Resort Da Nang being honored with the Outstanding Emulation Flag at the First Da Nang City Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025–2030).
