FURAMA DINING HOUSE – THE BEGINNING OF A JOURNEY TO BRING FURAMA’S CULINARY CULTURE CLOSER TO THE COMMUNITY

On 9 September 2026, Furama Dining House officially opened at 73 Tran Bach Dang Street, Barett Urban Zone, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang. This is not only the birth of a new dining destination, but also marks the first step in a strategy to bring the culinary and cultural values nurtured by Furama Resort Danang over many years beyond the resort, closer to local residents as well as visitors from Vietnam and around the world.

From the Furama Legacy to a New Journey

Furama is a hotel brand with a long history, originating in Hong Kong in 1973 and once present in many cities across Asia. In Vietnam, Furama Resort Danang has long been one of the pioneering names in the luxury resort industry, accompanying Da Nang on its rise to becoming an international travel destination.

Over many years of development, Furama has built not only accommodation experiences but has also persistently cultivated an ecosystem of cuisine, service, conferences, events and culture. Throughout that journey, cuisine has always held a special place.

We believe cuisine is not simply about delicious dishes. Behind every dish is a land, a community, a history and a culture. Furama Dining House was therefore created with the desire to bring that experience beyond the walls of the resort.

If guests once came to Furama to experience its cuisine, from now on Furama actively brings its culinary experiences closer to the city and the community.

One House, Four Flavors

Furama Dining House at Barett Urban Zone has been developed around the message ONE HOUSE, FOUR FLAVORS. Under a single roof are four brands, four styles and four different cultural journeys.

The four floors of Furama Dining House
Four floors, four cuisines under one roof.

Pho Cuon – Vietnamese Cuisine

Pho Cuon brings diners back to fresh, familiar Vietnamese rolls, rich in ingredients, preparation methods and the culture of enjoying them.

Thai Siam Kitchen – Thai Cuisine

Thai Siam Kitchen recreates a slice of Siamese-Thai culture, where diners not only savour Tom Yum, curries, salads, grilled dishes and other signature Thai flavours, but also feel the hospitality and cultural life of the Land of the Golden Temples.

Steak House The Fan – Steak & Wine

Steak House The Fan offers steak and Western cuisine in a contemporary, open space that retains the refinement of the art of service.

Hura Izakaya Restaurant – Japanese Izakaya

Hura Izakaya Restaurant invites diners into the atmosphere of a Japanese izakaya, where food, drink, décor and a spirit of conversation blend together to create an experience close to Japanese dining culture.

What Furama Dining House aims for is therefore not merely a collection of restaurants within one building. We want each floor to be a journey, each restaurant a cultural space, and each meal an experience of a destination.

Because a Thai dish becomes more complete when enjoyed in a space that evokes Thailand. A Japanese meal carries more emotion when the diner is placed within the spirit of an izakaya. And familiar Vietnamese dishes can tell very different stories when ingredients, architecture, music, tableware and service all take part in the telling.

Not Just Serving Food, but Telling Cultural Stories

This is the philosophy Furama pursues in developing its culinary brands. Cuisine can be one of the most intimate ways for people to understand a culture.

Alongside the quality of the food, Furama therefore focuses on creating the cultural space of each cuisine: from architecture, interiors, imagery, music and uniforms to service style and the stories behind ingredients and dishes.

Dining experience at Furama Dining House
Every meal at Furama Dining House is a cultural journey.

We hope a guest stepping into Furama Dining House asks not only “What shall I eat today?” but can also choose: “Where do I want my culinary journey to take me today?” That is how Furama turns a meal into an experience, and a restaurant into a destination.

Building Values to Pass On to Future Generations

Across more than two decades of growth in Da Nang, Furama has always asked itself a question larger than business: what will we leave behind for the generations that follow?

A building can be constructed in a few years. A restaurant can open in a few months. But forming a brand, a culture of service and values that can endure across generations requires a long journey. That is what we call legacy.

Furama wishes to preserve the fine values of Vietnamese cuisine while creating spaces where the world’s cuisines can be introduced authentically and respectfully in Da Nang. Every brand built today, every recipe preserved, every cultural story told and every generation of chefs and service staff trained is part of that legacy.

9 September 2026 – A Starting Point, Not a Destination

The opening of Furama Dining House at 73 Tran Bach Dang, Barett Urban Zone, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang on 9 September 2026 therefore carries a special meaning. This is the first Furama Dining House and the beginning of a long-term expansion strategy.

Furama Dining House opening ceremony on 9 September 2026
9 September 2026 opens a new chapter in Furama’s culinary journey.

In early December 2026, right in the Christmas and New Year season, Furama plans to open another Furama Dining House on 2/9 Street, Da Nang, adding one more culinary and cultural destination in the heart of the city.

Then, in early spring 2027, Furama Dining Village in Hoi An is expected to open, bringing this journey to a heritage land where cuisine, architecture, history and culture can meet in a deeper experience.

From a beach resort in Da Nang, the Furama culinary journey is step by step reaching further. Yet wherever it goes, the core spirit remains unchanged: respect for authenticity, appreciation of culture, a commitment to quality and the creation of memorable experiences.

9 September 2026 is therefore not merely the opening day of a Furama Dining House. It is the day a new journey begins – one that brings Furama’s culinary culture out of the resort and into the life of the city, closer to the people of Da Nang and travellers from everywhere, while gradually building values, brands and a legacy that can be carried forward by generations to come.
