INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES IN THE GLOBAL GREEN ECONOMY”

On the morning of October 24, 2025, Furama International Convention Palace was honored to be selected as the venue for the International Conference “Responsible Business Practices in the Global Green Economy”, an event co-organized by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) – Central Highlands Branch, and Catalyste+ Vietnam.

With the theme “Responsible Business Practices in the Global Green Economy”, the event attracted significant attention and participation from a large number of delegates, experts, and leaders from governmental authorities, international organizations, business associations, and the domestic business community.

The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Bình – Chairman of the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Anh Thi – Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Dr. Wayne Fernand St. Amour – Advisor of Catalyste+ Canada, Ms. Gulmira Asanbaeva – Country Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Vietnam, Mr. Phạm Ngọc Thạch, Master’s degree holder – Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), along with representatives of leaders from departments, agencies, and sectors of Da Nang City.

The conference served as an opportunity for domestic experts, policymakers, and enterprises, together with representatives of international organizations, to engage in in-depth discussions on green economic development trends, responsible business practices, and sustainable governance orientations in the context of globalization.

Throughout the program, speakers focused on sharing international experiences, policies, and models of sustainable development, emphasizing the role of enterprises in linking economic growth with social responsibility and environmental protection. The conference was divided into three main working sessions, offering multi-dimensional and practical perspectives:

Session 1 – Overview of the green economy and responsible business practices toward sustainable development: International experts presented global green economy development trends, ESG governance (Environmental – Social – Governance), and Vietnam’s policy framework for promoting responsible business practices.

Session 2 – Sharing domestic and international experiences in responsible business practices: The discussion session recorded many practical insights from agencies and pioneering enterprises in green transformation and sustainable development.

Session 3 – Public–private dialogue: Recommendations and action commitments: The public–private dialogue session was co-chaired by leaders of state agencies, international organizations, and business associations. The content focused on exchanges, removing obstacles, mobilizing financial, technical, and human resources, while recommending solutions and action commitments to promote responsible business practices in Vietnam.

The conference also opened a public–private dialogue forum to promote cooperation, mobilize resources, and spread the values of the green economy within the Vietnamese business community.
