According to Resolution 229, effective from August 15, 2025, Vietnam will grant a 45-day visa exemption to citizens of 12 European countries. This policy applies to tourism purposes and will be valid until August 14, 2028.

The list of added countries includes: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
