FURAMA DANANG LIFEGUARD TEAM WAS AWARDED OVERALL WINNER OF DANANG INTERNATIONAL LIFEGUARD COMPETITION

On May 14, 2017, Furama Resort Danang Lifeguard team was awarded Overall Winner at the Danang International Lifeguard Competition 2017 which also included 2 individual First Prizes and 1 Third Prizes.

Hosted by the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches and the Surf Life Saving Australia, the Danang International Lifeguard Competition attracted over 16 teams from a number of domestic and international beach resorts. Professional lifeguards compete for individual and team honors in water and beach course events that challenge their lifesaving skills including beach flags, swimming relays, surf swims, rescue swims, coracle races, etc. The competition aimed to create an opportunity for domestic and foreign lifeguard clubs to exchange their experiences in maritime rescue activities. The event is a part of Danang International Firework Festival 2017.
